This Refund Policy governs the conditions under which refunds may be granted for purchases of research services, digital reports, subscriptions or related services offered by us (here in after referred to as “Services”). By purchasing any of our Services via our website or mobile application (the “Platform”), you acknowledge, understand, and agree to be bound by the terms set forth in this Refund Policy, in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Disclaimers.
1. Applicability This policy applies to all Services provided by us, including but not limited to:
research reports, market-insights, subscriptions for periodic research, educational/digital content, alerts or signals, under the RA registration held by us. We are registered with SEBI as a research analyst under registration number: INH000011440.We operate pursuant to the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014 (as amended) (“RA Regulations”), and the related circulars and guidelines issued by SEBI (including those on “Most Important Terms & Conditions” (MITC), advance fee collection, disclosures and refund/refund of unearned fees).
2. Refund Eligibility Refunds will be permitted only in the limited circumstances set out below:
2.1 Valid grounds for refund
Duplicate payments: If you have been charged more than once for the same transaction /service.
Technical/Delivery failure: If payment was deducted but the Service (e.g., report, subscription access) was not delivered or made accessible due to a verified technical error on our part.
Termination by RA for regulatory/registration reasons: If our RA registration is suspended or cancelled by SEBI or the supervising body, for a continuous period exceeding 60 days (or such longer period as applicable), then you will be eligible for a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the subscribed period.
2.2 Conditions for refund request To be eligible for a refund under the above grounds, the following conditions must be met:
A refund request must be submitted in writing via email to adlytick@gmail.com within seven (7) calendar days from the date of the relevant transaction (or delivery failure).
You must provide valid proof of payment such as bank statement, UTR number, transaction ID or payment gateway confirmation.
Once the report or subscription has been delivered, accessed or used by you (for example ,you have downloaded the digital report or logged in and viewed the subscription content),
a refund will not be allowed unless the refund is due to our registration suspension/cancellation as noted above.
Your request must include all relevant transaction details and evidence of delivery failure or duplicate payment.
3. Advance Fee & Pro-Rata Refund (for subscriptions)Under the RA Regulations and associated SEBI guidance:
In accordance with SEBI’s regulatory framework, we may collect fees in advance for subscription-based research services. This was previously restricted to one quarter; however, recent SEBI guidelines permit Research Analysts (RAs) to collect advance fees for up to one year from individual or HUF clients, subject to their explicit written consent.
If the subscription or service agreement is terminated prematurely by you (the client) orby us (the RA) for regulatory reasons, you will be entitled to a pro-rata refund of the fee for the unexpired portion of the subscription period (on a daily basis) from the date of termination.
No “breakage fee” or penalty will be imposed for such premature termination except as permitted under the RA Regulations (for individual/HUF clients) unless otherwise mutually agreed and disclosed.4. Non-Eligibility / Exclusions Refunds will not be provided under the following situations:
If the Service (report/subscription/alert) has been delivered, accessed, downloaded or used by you and your reason for requesting refund is dissatisfaction with the content quality, market outcomes, interpretation of reports, or results obtained. (No guarantee of returns is given by us.)
If you request a refund beyond the stipulated refund-request window (7 calendar days)except in regulatory suspension/cancellation scenario.
For fees charged for ancillary platform/technology access (non-research component)where split is applicable and disclosed separately. (Such platform/technology fees may be non-refundable.)
5. Refund Process & Timeline
To initiate a refund request, you must send a written request to adlytick@gmail.com ,quoting your transaction ID, date, amount, and reason, along with proof of payment.
Upon receipt of your request and supporting documents, we will validate your claim within 5–7 working days.
If approved, refund will be credited to the original payment method within 7–10 business days (or otherwise as per banking/ payment gateway timelines).
If we reject the refund request, we will notify you of the reasons in writing.6. Amendments to Policy We reserve the right to modify or update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices or applicable regulatory requirements. The updated version will be posted on our Platform, and will take effect immediately upon posting (unless otherwise stated). Your continued use of our Services after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the updated policy.
7. Disclaimer & Risk Disclosure
Research services provided by us do not guarantee any specific financial returns. Investments in securities are subject to market risk and past performance is not indicative of future results.
You acknowledge that you will use your own judgment, possibly with the help of a qualified financial advisor, before acting on our research, and neither we nor Research Analyst Administration and Supervisory Body (“RAASB”) nor SEBI shall be responsible for any losses, over-trading, missed profits or damages arising out of your decisions.
Our role is limited to providing research and insights; we are not providing portfolio management, execution of trades or guaranteed outcomes.
The terms of this Refund Policy are in addition to the Mandatory Terms & Conditions(MITC) which we provide to you under Regulation 24(6) of the RA Regulations.8. Taxes & Deductions All fees are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) and any other applicable taxes as per prevailing law. In case of any approved refund, the refund amount shall be limited to the base service fee collected, and shall not include the GST or any other tax components already remitted to the government. The GST portion is non-refundable, as the same is paid to the government and cannot be reclaimed once remitted. Where permissible under law (for example, if the refund is processed before filing of GST returns), we may, at our discretion, issue a revised tax invoice or credit note and refund the corresponding GST component.
